I do love it when groups in our region progress to having a real web and blog site. We have an addition to this category in the last month.
Obviously they still want to add more to their site but they are well and truly up and running and it’s worth checking them out. The Geelong Rail Heritage Society web site includes an amazing range of up-coming tours and events. They also have a great range of books / publications.

Hi Susie, Rocky was my father, as Gavin says dad was a driver on the railways, I don’t remember the dates, but would guess he started as a fireman gaining a boiler attendants ticket around 1960 and progressed to a driver. He would have finished in early to mid 70’s. was often on shift with a particular driver Rex Deacan.
