New indexes are constantly being added to the Geelong & District database.
These indexes are part of Groups within the database. The groups include:

- Burials / Headstones DB
- Directories DB
- GDHA Church Records DB
- Pioneers DB
- Potpourri DB
- Surnames of Interest DB
Searches can be narrowed by selecting specific Groups of records.
Volunteers within our region are WONDERFUL. They are the ones who index local history books, official records at the Public Record Office Victoria or the Geelong Heritage Centre, or records held at their local society.
